Academic Work is an international business family. Like other families, we share the same history and a common future. We strive toward the same vision, are driven by the same core values, and help each other. By working with and surrounding ourselves with ambitious people, we have grown from a small start-up to an international family. Our success is the result of attracting the right employees, candidates, and consultants—because it is people who make us grow, and our mission is to help people grow.
The start of a journey
In 1998, three friends in Sweden had an idea to connect their fellow students with companies that needed part-time employees. That was the start of Academic Work. Today, we have a large number of offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, and Switzerland.
Recruitment and temporary staffing solutions have always been Academic Work's core business. We have helped more than 160,000 students and academics at the start of their careers find a job, while also meeting our clients' recruitment needs. The strength and potential of this target group has always been central to us.
We are always looking ahead, eager to innovate and challenge the status quo. By finding new ways to offer companies talented employees, we began to grow into something much bigger than just Academic Work. We became a family – AKind.
We are 'One of Akind'
Our group operates in six countries with over 1,000 employees. AW Group is a collection of brands that work together to attract the right ambitions and the right potential - Academic Work, Brights, Crowd Collective, and Winona.
In the Danish market, we have Academic Work, which offers temporary staffing solutions and recruitment of early career professionals – students and academics with up to five years of professional experience. In addition, we have Brights, which offers a fast and flexible solution to your skills shortage in IT and Tech – through our Academy programs.
